Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, during a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Turkey in August, Anadolu reports.

Erdoğan stressed that the main task is to achieve peace between Ukraine and Russia. Answering a reporter's question about a possible exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and Russia, he said, “Efforts in this direction are ongoing. We discussed this topic with President Zelenskyy today. Next month, Mr. Putin will also visit Turkey, we will have the opportunity to discuss this issue.”
