More international efforts are needed to prevent ethnic cleansing by Azerbaijan in [Artsakh] Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during a panel discussion held within the forum in Dubrovnik, Armenpress reports.
Mirzoyan noted that Armenia is negotiating with Azerbaijan in good faith, but in the negotiation process and on the ground, it still faces threats and the real use of force.

“We have a blockade of Nagorno-Karabakh. We need more international efforts to prevent ethnic cleansing,” he said.
According to Ararat Mirzoyan, "the people of Nagorno-Karabakh are in real danger of ethnic cleansing."

“If the world order that we talk about, that we dream about, is based on values, then humanity has a chance. I repeat once again: we are talking about human lives. Now we are talking about world unrest, violations of international law, but we have been talking about this since 2020, when Azerbaijan launched an aggressive war in Nagorno-Karabakh, after which it invaded the sovereign territory of Armenia several times,” the FM said.
