The National Assembly (NA) of Armenia will convene a special session on Tuesday. This was announced Monday by majority faction MP Heriknaz Tigranyan, during the meeting of the NA Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs.

She added that the fall session of the NA will start on September 11.

The NA standing committees have been holding meetings since last week to debate on the drafts to be tabled at the aforesaid special session.

The previous NA special session—at the proposal of the Armenian government—was held from June 13 to 15.
