The increase in trade between Armenia and Russia may reach 60 percent by the end of the year. Armenian economy minister Vahan Kerobyan told TASS about this at the Innoprom 2023 International Exhibition and Forum of Industry and Innovations held in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
"Last year, our trade with Russia amounted to more than $5 billion. Now we are at a double growth level. I believe that we will reach a 50-60 percent increase by the end of the year," said Kerobyan.
The minister of economy emphasized that Russia is Armenia's "number one trade partner."
Kerobyan noted that the amount of Armenia’s trade with the other Eurasian Economic Union member countries had doubled.
