The British Embassy in Armenia issued a statement on the activities of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the South Caucasus.

“The ICRC has for many years carried out crucially important work in the South Caucasus, including along the Lachin Corridor, where their operations help support the local population obtain access to essential goods and services, including life-saving medication and health care.

The UK government strongly supports the activities and continued work of the ICRC. The UK calls on all parties to refrain from the politicization of humanitarian assistance,” says the statement.
