Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Maliar informed about the attack of Russian troops in the direction of Kupiansk.
“The enemy has been actively advancing in the Kupiansk direction of the Kharkiv region for two days in a row. We are on the defensive. Tough battles are going on, the positions of the parties change dynamically several times a day.
In the Bakhmut direction, we are moving gradually forward. There is an advancement every day on the southern flank around Bakhmut.
On the northern flank we are trying to hold our positions, the enemy is attacking.
In Bakhmut itself we fire at the enemy, the enemy fires back at us.
On the Avdiivka and Maryinka directions, the enemy continues offensive operations. Our defenders continue to effectively contain them. Tough fights continue without changing the positions,” Maliar wrote in her Telegram channel.
