Practically all buses providing regular public transport in Stepanakert, the capital of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), will not operate as of today.

"In the conditions of extreme shortage of fuel [due to the ongoing Azerbaijani blockade of Artsakh], the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure [of Artsakh] performs calculations on a regular basis. And if until now it was possible to keep certain restrictions on the route, from July 18 we will have to reduce the route to the capital, except for the routes serving the Nor Aresh district," says Vladimir Harutyunyan, the First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, in an interview with Artsakh Public Television.

If the situation does not get better in the near future, there will be changes in the public transport routes of other cities of Artsakh as well.
