One of the issues discussed during the meeting in Brussels held on July 15 was that Armenia and Azerbaijan reaffirmed that they mutually recognize each other’s territorial integrity of 29,800 and 86,600 square kilometers respectively, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the cabinet meeting on Thursday.

"Border delimitation should take place on the basis of the Alma Ata Declaration of 1991 and in the near future we should specify the cartographic basis of border demarcation activities," he said.

According to Nikol Pashinyan, the opening of regional communications should take place on the basis of the principle of sovereignty, authority and equality of the parties.

Regarding the humanitarian issues, the Prime Minister said that Azerbaijan continues to break the promises given to international partners over this issue.

"But we should tirelessly continue the work for the return of captives and clarifying the fate of the missing persons," said Nikol Pashinyan.
