A group of citizens are holding a demonstration near the Yerevan office of the United Nations in support of Artsakh that has been in blockade by Azerbaijan for several months now.

"Today, Artsakh Armenians are made to starve not only by Azerbaijan, but also by the international community that has kept silent. Those people [in Artsakh] prove with their privations that the highest value is the human dignity, which the European bureaucrats want to belittle. It is a shame to make 120,000 Armenians starve," said Larisa Alaverdyan, Armenia’s first human rights defender, who was participating in the demonstration.

Demonstrations have recently been held also near the US, Russian and French embassies in Yerevan.
