As of last evening, 38.5 thousand citizens of the Republic of Armenia joined Hayaqve, Coordinator of Hayaqve legislative initiative Avetik Chalabyan said at a press conference today, on July 22.

"The result of last week was 25 thousand, 13.5 thousand citizens joined during the week, 19.870 of them in Yerevan, 18.010 in the regions of the Republic of Armenia and 620 citizens who joined by sending their electronic signatures," he said, noting that the numbers are rising in all directions.

The collection of signatures under the Hayaqve initiative has been going on for 3 weeks, it is aimed at submitting a legislative initiative to the National Assembly, which will criminalize any statement recognizing Artsakh as a part of any other state.

The first stage needs 50,000 signatures and 300,000 signatures if it is rejected by the National Assembly.
The collection of signatures will end on August 19.
