Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed concerns over the humanitarian situation in Nagorno Karabakh sparked by a seven-month blockade by Azerbaijan.
“The Netherlands follows the humanitarian situation affecting the population in the former Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast with serious concern, and fully supports the statement of Josep Borrell,” reads the statement published on the ministry’s X/Twitter account.
Armenia has sent about 360 tons of humanitarian aid to Nagorno Karabakh Azerbaijan does not allow the trucks transporting it to enter the country, describing it as “provocation”.
Several international organizations have called on Azerbaijan to lift the blockade that has been in place for more than seven months but Azerbaijan has apparently ingorned them.
