“By my personal decision, I assume on the political responsibility to leave the post of the President of National Assembly, but I will always remain true to the idea adopted by our people in the 1991 referendum.

Until my last breath, I will serve the Republic of Armenia and its people, the Republic of Artsakh and its people.

Tomorrow I will tender my resignation.”
