The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry issued a statement in response to attempts by the international community to call Baku to order and let the convoy with humanitarian cargo through the [Berdzor] Lachin Corridor. The statement was published in the Azerbaijani mass media.

In it, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, due to the lack of facts and grounds, lists empty accusations against Armenia and attributes to Yerevan its own desire to disrupt the negotiation process.

Not fulfilling its obligations, including as part of a tripartite statement dated November 9, 2020, Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of “non-fulfillment of obligations” as a distraction, saying, “Contrary to its obligations, Armenia did not completely withdraw its armed forces from Azerbaijani lands, on the contrary, rotated them through Lachin road, supplied them with weapons and ammunition, continued to finance their troops in the Azerbaijani territories at the expense of the state budget of Armenia, and plundered the natural resources of Azerbaijan.”

Alerts about a humanitarian crisis in [Artsakh] Nagorno-Karabakh were called “false” in Baku, and the mention of a tense situation was put in quotation marks.

“The Azerbaijani side has put forward a number of proposals, including the use of the [Akna-Stepanakert] Agdam-Khankendi road and other alternative roads to meet the needs of the Armenian residents of Karabakh. But the Armenian side opposed these proposals, which were supported by the European Union and the ICRC, blocked access to the territory by installing concrete barriers on alternative roads. This once again indicates that Armenia's statements about the humanitarian situation are political blackmail and manipulation. Armenia's goal is to attract third parties to the region, expand the geography of tensions and disrupt the peace process,” the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.

Three countries "received the blow" too."

“It is unacceptable that a number of countries and international organizations that turned a blind eye to the occupation of Azerbaijani territories for 30 years make biased statements against Azerbaijan. These countries and international organizations over the past three years have also neglected the presence of Armenian armed forces on the territory of Azerbaijan. We demand that the countries and international organizations, deceived by the manipulations of Armenia and making biased statements, respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, not interfere in the internal affairs of our country and put an end to the policy of double standards.”

Thus, demanding from the international community to "not interfere in the internal affairs," Baku openly admits preparations for some kind of punitive expedition, at the same time forgetting that a mass violation of human rights cannot fall under the requirement of non-interference in the affairs of a country, as well as vice versa, and such examples are known.
