Members of the Ansar al-Furqan terrorist group were arrested during an operation carried out by the Iran's police forces in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, Mehr reports.

Commander General Dost-Ali Jalilian of Sistan and Balouchestan's law enforcement reported the arrest of 2 Ansar al-Furqan terrorists in Qasr-e Qand after they killed and injured Basij forces on Friday.

According to him, the arrest of other members of the terrorist group is on the police's agenda.
