This was stated by independent international expert, the first chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), and former professor of Harvard and Yale Universities, Luis Moreno Ocampo, during an online conference dedicated to the ongoing blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan.

According to the Geneva Conventions, one of the forms of genocide is to create conditions for the physical destruction of a group. This is exactly what is happening as a result of the blockade of Lachin Corridor. According to the decision of the ICC, the Lachin corridor should have been opened, but they ignored that decision.
