Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan received Toivo Klaar, the European Union (EU) Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, informed the Armenian government website.

Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, also attended the meeting.

The interlocutors discussed the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of the ongoing blockade of Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan. The parties emphasized the need for urgent resolution of the issue, including from the perspective of establishing long-term stability and peace in the region.
