French President Emmanuel Macron stated that this week he will hold talks with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan and come up with a new diplomatic initiative to settle the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.

"This week I will talk with [Armenian] Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and [Azerbaijani] President Ilham Aliyev. We will demand the full implementation of [the agreements] on the humanitarian corridor of Lachine, as well as we will come up with a new diplomatic initiative in the international arena to increase the pressure [on Azerbaijan to end the blockade of the Lachin corridor]," said the French president, speaking at the conference of the country's ambassadors.
