France is mobilizing for the establishment of a just and lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Catherine Colonna, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, announced this while speaking at the conference of ambassadors in France.

"Thus, we [i.e. France] will mobilize to create conditions for the establishment of a just and stable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which will enable delimitation of the borders between the two countries and enable the people of Nagorno-Karabakh to live there, respecting their rights, culture, and history," Colonna said.

Also, the French FM stressed that Azerbaijan's "strategy of strangling to death" aimed at inciting the mass emigration of Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh is illegal, as the International Court of Justice has already determined. Catherine Colonna added that this policy is immoral, too.
