The national flag of France has been raised in the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) capital, Stepanakert, as a sign of gratitude.

Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo arrived in Armenia Wednesday to visit the starting point of the Lachin corridor and accompany the convoy of humanitarian cargo from France destined for Artsakh. At the moment, this convoy is at the checkpoint area of Kornidzor village of Armenia.

Earlier, Armenian News-NEWS.am reported that ten trucks with humanitarian cargo sent from France to Artsakh headed from Armenia’s capital Yerevan Wednesday morning to the Kornidzor checkpoint, the starting point of the Lachin corridor. This French humanitarian aid was allocated by Paris, as well as the Ile-de-France, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, Hauts-de-France, Occitanie, and Pays de la Loire regions of France.
