Chairman of The Republicans group in the French Senate, Bruno Retailleau, posted a photo on X—former Twitter—of the Lachin corridor that is blocked by Azerbaijan.

“In front of the blocked point of the Lachin corridor. I call on France to adopt a resolution for the immediate [re]opening, for humanitarian purposes, of this corridor cut off by the [Azerbaijani] autocrat [president Ilham] Aliyev last December. The genocidal policy he is conducting, denounced by Luis Moreno Ocampo, former ICC [(International Criminal Court)] prosecutor general, and by Juan Mendez, former UN expert on the prevention of genocides, must end. Time is running out,” the French senator wrote on top of the aforesaid photo.
