The Azerbaijani propaganda machine is disseminating false information claiming that the Armenian Armed Forces are concentrating a large amount of weapons, military equipment, and personnel in the Sotk village sector of Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province.

By disseminating such false information, the Azerbaijani side is creating an information base in order to continue the provocation it started Friday morning in the direction of Sotk, Armenia's Ministry of Defense (MoD) informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Earlier, Armenian News-NEWS.am reported that starting at 7:50am Friday, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened intense fire, also using mortars, in the direction of the Armenian positions located in the Sotk village sector of Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province. As a result, the Armenian military has two casualties and one wounded.
