As of 1:50pm Friday, there is no change in the situation, informed the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Armenia.

The armed forces of Azerbaijan continue to fire, from small arms and mortars, in the Sotk and Norabak directions of Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province.

The Armenian Armed Forces’ units are taking necessary defensive measures.

Earlier, the Armenian MoD reported that starting at 7:50am Friday, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened intense fire, also using mortars, in the direction of the Armenian positions located in the Sotk village sector of Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province. As a result, the Armenian military has two casualties and one wounded.
