Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi District Court has ordered detention of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky for a period of 60 days with the option to post bail of nearly 510 million hryvnias, Ukrainska Pravda reports.

Kolomoiskyi was placed in custody for a 60-day duration - until October 31 inclusive.

On Saturday, September 2, Ukraine's Security Service, the Economic Security Bureau, and the Prosecutor General's Office issued a notice of suspicion to oligarch Ihor Kolomoiskyi, charging him under Criminal Code Articles 190 and 209 for fraudulent activities and the legalisation (money laundering) of assets acquired through unlawful means.
