The Ministry of Defense issued an explanatory message, urging not to deliberately distort the chronological sequence of events and the content of messages and not to mislead the public.

“On September 2, around 14:00, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan published a video of the use of a UAV. Immediately after this publication, the Azerbaijani propaganda machine began disseminating false information claiming that there were casualties and wounded on the Armenian side as a result of a UAV strike. At 15:48, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia issued a statement in which it refuted (and continues to refute) the information from Azerbaijani media regarding casualties and wounded on the Armenian side as a result of a UAV strike.

Once again, we report that on September 1, as a result of Azerbaijani provocation, the Armenian side suffered 3 casualties and 2 wounded. Later, at 23:53 on September 2, around 17:30, the Ministry of Defense reported the death of 2 servicemen due to an explosion during engineering work in another part of the border zone.
