The development of the arbitration system will make Armenia a more appealing country for business. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan stated this during the inaugural Armenia International Arbitration Conference that was held in capital Yerevan Monday.
"The Armenian government attaches importance to the development of alternative dispute resolution methods and their use and distribution in our country. It is documented both practically and scientifically that the established arbitration culture and activities contribute to the improvement of the investment environment, help to relieve the workload of the judicial system," he said.
Also, the Armenian deputy PM stressed the development of education programs for lawyers specializing in business law, as well as the continued holding of similar conferences.
Grigoryan assured that the aforementioned international conference is an unprecedented event for this domain in Armenia.
