There are disagreements and discussions; this cannot be interpreted as tension with the Russian side. Armenian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Paruyr Hovhannisyan told reporters about this on Thursday, when asked about Armenia’s current tension with Russia.

"Working relations are in progress with Russia, as we have with other partners. Disagreements, discussions, it does not mean that it can be interpreted as tension. Discussions on various matters are going on in the working order," said Hovhannisyan.

To the question whether Armenia is considering withdrawing from the CSTO, the deputy FM responded as follows: "You know how the announcements are going on that matter; we [i.e. Armenia] have addressed that matter. We criticize the CSTO on a number of matters, but now that matter is not on our agenda."
