The ban on entering the stadium with the flag of Azerbaijan during Friday’s match between the national football teams of Turkey and Armenia in Eskisehir, Turkey, has received a negative reaction from Turkish nationalists and the local Azerbaijani community.

A wave of protest has risen on social media over the decision of the Turkish Football Federation, which has prohibited entering the stadium with the flag of Azerbaijan in the Turkey vs. Armenia match, according to Yenicag daily.

Nationalist forces of Turkey and local Azerbaijanis have sent a complaint in this regard to the Turkish Football Federation and the governor of Eskisehir Province.
