The Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) was suggested to hold urgent hearings regarding the situation in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). Vladimir Vardanyan, a member of the Armenian National Assembly delegation to the PACE, informed about this on Facebook.

"During the session held in Paris, the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Right of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe made a decision to petition to the PACE Bureau and propose:

"to organize, with an urgent procedure, a discussion of the matter of the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, during the October 2023 PACE session,

"to organize urgent joint hearings on the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh at the [PACE] Committee on the Honouring (Monitoring) of Obligations and Commitments by Member States of the Council of Europe , and on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons," Vardanyan wrote.
