The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is ready to use any road for the delivery of goods to Nagorno-Karabakh, with the agreement of the decision-making parties and ensuring security. Ilaha Huseynova, Head of the Public Relations Department of the ICRC office in Azerbaijani capital Baku, told TASS about this.

"Before carrying out any action, the ICRC necessarily agrees it with the relevant decision-makers, shares information and, after obtaining agreement, proceeds to action. The ICRC is ready to use any road if there is an agreement with the decision-making parties on its use and the safety of transportation is ensured. In other words, those who make a decision must agree and guarantee security," said the official representative of the ICRC office in Baku.

According to Huseynova, the ICRC is currently carrying out medical evacuations along the Lachin road and is transporting "a very limited amount" of medicine and food.
