YEREVAN. – Armen Petrosyan, owner of “Aray” audio-, video-, and household equipment chain store, was found dead on Sunday in Armenia’s Kotayk Region.
After an anonymous call, a police squad discovered Petrosyan’s body, nearby Sevan-Yerevan highway, in his BMW X5, Police Force informed.
There was a TT-type pistol in Armen Petrosyan’s hand, and, according to preliminary premise, he has committed suicide. There was a gunshot wound on Petrosyan’s temple and his right-hand finger was on the pistol’s trigger. In Petrosyan’s car the police officers also discovered a Browning-type pistol, large number of cartridges, and one fired capsule.
A criminal case is launched on charges of causing suicide and possessing illegal weapons and ammunition.
