We call on Azerbaijan to provide international access to Nagorno-Karabakh to ensure more effective delivery of needed aid, as well as independent monitoring of what is happening and how the population is being treated. Peter Stano, Lead Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Commission of the European Union, stated this at a press briefing Wednesday.

According to him, one of the most important key points is confidence-building measures, in connection with which he called on Azerbaijan to fulfill its obligations, which “depend on the proposal of general amnesty to the Armenian forces of Karabakh who agreed to the ceasefire.”
