YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met on Wednesday with the U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns. The sides discussed bilateral Armenian-American international and regional issues. Mutual high-level visits are the proof of Armenian-American active dialogue, Presidential press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Armenia has always been certain on the issue of strengthening relations with the U.S. These relations secure reforms in developing economy, strengthen democracy and ensure stability in the region, the President said.

Sargsyan also pays importance to the U.S. efforts in peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict as OSCE Minsk group mediator.
