On October 4, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia (MFA) of Armenia had informed the CIS Executive Committee in writing that the deputy foreign minister of Armenia will participate in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS countries scheduled for Thursday in Bishkek, said MFA spokesperson Ani Badalyan.
As reported earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said that a meeting between the Russian, Armenian, and Azerbaijani foreign ministers may take place Thursday in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
The Russia deputy FM added that Baku had given its respective consent, and now the parties were waiting for an official response from Yerevan.
But now it turns out that this possible meeting between FMs Sergey Lavrov, Ararat Mirzoyan, and Jeyhun Bayramov will not take place.
