Armenia’s relations with the European Union (EU) are developing on the basis of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement and within its framework. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in an interview to Public Television.

Referring to Russia's accusations that Armenia is changing its vector and moving towards the West, Pashinyan said: "We are not changing any vectors. The Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement with the EU was signed and ratified before 2018. We are not changing anything in it. Whatever is in the relations with Russia, we have not canceled anything. We have not left anywhere."

To the program host’s remark that there are several ways to cancel, one is that you take and cancel, the other is that you don't go to CSTO military exercises, you don't appoint a representative in that structure, and you lower your presence in meetings to the level of a deputy minister, Pashinyan responded: "We have never hidden the problems that exist. There are 2021 events related to the same CSTO. For example, in 2020, we did not present claims related to the CSTO, not a hint to Russia, but during the events of Sotk-Khoznavar in 2021, yes, we raised very specific issues, and we continue to raise them.”
