A person died from a lightning strike in Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned.

According to our information, this person served in a military unit of Gegharkunik.

In order to verify this information, we contacted Aram Torosyan, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. And he confirmed that the person who died from the lightning strike was serving in an Armenian military unit.
