YEREVAN. – Methodology of Doing Business-2012 report conducted by the World Bank, has a new coefficient: receiving energy, Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy Karine Minasyan told the journalists.

The coefficient shows how much time will take the plant to join the energy network and how much it will cost. Armenia occupies quite low positions on this regard in the report. It is 150th out of 180 states.

 Minasyan explained that the report is based on data of May this year, whereas significant changes were carried out at the end of the month. Armenian government decided to reduce time of joining the energy network from nine months to 90 days. This index will significantly improve Armenia’s position in the next report.
