In response to a request from the AFP news agency concerning the military exercises conducted by Azerbaijan and Turkey, the French Foreign Ministry emphasized its ‘extreme vigilance’ toward potential risks to Armenia's territorial integrity.
The ministry's commentary highlighted that these maneuvers are taking place in various locations, including the Azerbaijani enclave of Nakhichevan, which shares borders with Armenia and Iran, as well as in ‘liberated territories,’ the specific locations of which were not disclosed and could potentially refer to Karabakh or adjacent Azerbaijani regions.
"As reiterated by the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Catherine Colonna, France will closely monitor any attempt to jeopardize Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity," stated the French Foreign Ministry, as reported by Figaro.
