YEREVAN. – Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan has to free the army from the generals who make money on army and must personally apologize for every soldier died in the army, said Armenian Heritage party MP Zaruhi Postanjyan.

“Every citizen of Armenia must pay his or her contribution in defending our country. But that does not mean that army officials have the privilege to silence those who point out the failures of the army or make money on army.

What can the general commander of the armed forces of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan do, although he is one of Armenia’s not elected presidents?

He must demand legal assessment for Robert Kocharyan’s decree on March 1 because of which the Armed Forces were used inside Armenia and a soldier died.

He must dismiss the generals and officials who make money on army demanding legal assessment of their behavior,” stressed Postanjyan.
