YEREVAN. - A Start-up weekend for IT will take place in Yerevan in December. The annual Information Technology award winners of this year - three managers who had two weeks of training courses in Stanford University in August - told about it during a meeting with Armenia’s PM Tigran Sargyan.

The managers talked with great enthusiasm about the training courses in Stanford and shared their impressions, the press service of the Government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Two weeks of intensive training enabled them to get to know the American leaders in the IT area, their management and other working processes.

They stressed that applied knowledge in the IT area contributes to the qualification growth of IT managers. The managers promised to share their experiences with other IT experts in Armenia. The participants of the training presented the actions of their organizations to the PM. The current situation of IT and its development prospects in Armenia were also discussed during the meeting.
