The agreement between Armenia and the European Union (EU) on the status of the EU monitoring mission in Armenia (EUMA) was signed by Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, and Paruyr Hovhannisyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, on Monday, informed the office of the EU Delegation to Armenia. 

This agreement regulates the legal status of the EUMA.

The EUMA was deployed on February 20 with a two-year mandate and 103 international staff from the EU Member States, including EU experts and monitors.
