Today I received Finland's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Kirsti Narinen and Finland's Honorary Consul Timothy Straight. Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahan Kerobyan informed about it on Facebook Monday.

"At the beginning of the meeting, I presented the current state of Armenia's economy to the guests, and noted that the country's GDP increased by 9.2 percent in the 9 months of 2023.

"After that, we reflected on the ‘Crossroads of Peace’ project developed by the Government of Armenia, as well as the economic integration of forcibly displaced people from NK [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] into the Republic of Armenia [(RA)].

"Also, I noted at the meeting that the RA Government's goal is the diversification of the [country’s] economy in all areas, including in the domains of mining, energy and telecommunications.

"We have agreed to take steps towards establishing business ties with north Baltic businessmen," added the economy minister of Armenia.
