Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia received the Director General of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), Noel Curran, the PM’s office informs.

The premier emphasized the close cooperation and implementation of joint projects between the Public Television of Armenia and the EBU. Pashinyan stressed the role of the Public Television Company and underscored the need for its continued development, re-equipment, and work aimed at increasing the professional abilities of its employees.

Curran, for his part, noted that the EBU is interested in close cooperation with the Public Television of Armenia and is ready to contribute to its development and expansion of capabilities.

During the meeting, the role of TV companies in the current reality, the fight against disinformation, and freedom of speech were discussed.
