At approximately 2:35pm Monday, the Azerbaijani armed forces discharged fire against the Armenian combat position in Bardzruni village of Armenia’s Vayots Dzor Province.
Consequently, Armenian military unit serviceman Gerasim Arakelyan sustained a fatal gunshot wound, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
An investigation is in progress into this incident.
