Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday called for reform of the United Nations Security Council, condemning the fact that the U.S. can veto a Gaza ceasefire proposal despite overwhelming support from other countries, Reuters reported.
"The United Nations Security Council's demand for a ceasefire is only rejected by a U.S. veto. Is this justice?", Erdogan told a human rights conference in Istanbul.
"The UN Security Council needs to be reformed," he added.
