Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the President of the International Crisis Group, Comfort Ero, the PM’s office informs.
The interlocutors discussed the regional situation. Reference was made to the possibilities of establishing stability and lasting peace in the South Caucasus, the process of normalizing Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, and the latest developments.
PM Pashinyan presented the respective positions of the Armenian side, including over the principles of a peace treaty with Azerbaijan.
The parties exchanged views also on the humanitarian issues of the Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of ethnic cleansing by Azerbaijan, and the programs being implemented by the Armenian government to resolve these issues. The assistance in this regard by the international community was emphasized by both sides.
