VANADZOR. – Armenian Vanadzor city council held regular meeting on Friday. However, issues and solutions discussed in the meeting brought forward resentment of the citizens.

Out of 14 city council members only 8 were present at the meeting, the council’s press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

An issue, which became priority, referred to the annual tax for keeping domestic animals. Half of the members resented saying that it will cause protest of the people. After all, the issue underwent discussions. It was decided to define AMD 1,000 ($3) tax for each domestic animal. The third voting adopted the decision but there are no regulations set on the system of payments.
