Work was carried out aimed at providing employment to our compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, as a result of which thousands of people were provided with counseling, were employed. Narek Mkrtchyan, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, announced this at the press briefing held Friday at the Humanitarian Center.

Also, Mkrtchyan noted that the matter of implementing more clearly targeted mid- and long-term employment programs these displaced persons was being discussed—and which will enable to attract larger groups of these persons.

"Various models, programs are being discussed, and we will have an opportunity to talk about them in the near future. They can be programs aimed at both sustainable employment and housing," said the minister.
