We have no expectations from the CSTO any longer. The secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, said this in an interview with the Public Television of Armenia.

"In September 2022, when a large-scale attack [by Azerbaijan] took place on the Republic of Armenia, Armenia turned to the CSTO expecting help to protect its sovereign territory, [but] we did not receive any proper response from the CSTO, and over time we realized that we cannot have any expectations from the CSTO in this regard," Grigoryan said, noting that it remains today's benchmark.

He added that this position by Armenia will be maintained until the CSTO makes a statement, evaluates, protects Armenia's territorial integrity and sovereignty, and understands what they are doing.

Also, the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia said that no technico-military assistance was offered to Armenia from the CSTO, and when the latter’s monitors were asked whether they were coming to protect the border of Armenia, no clear answer was given.

"The CSTO has never recognized the borders of Armenia, the CSTO does not recognize its zone of responsibility, and this is a very serious problem for Armenia," added Armen Grigoryan.
