The Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, had his second meeting with the representatives of military industry companies in Armenia.

In his remarks, the minister emphasized that the development and progress of Armenia’s military industry is one of the priorities of the country’s Ministry of High-Tech Industry, and there are respective challenges and problems that must be overcome by joint efforts, the aforementioned ministry informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

At the meeting, a number of ways for surmounting the respective problems presented were discussed.

The need to develop new programs towards engineering education, the training of qualified personnel, and the ensuring of generational change were underscored, in particular, in the development of Armenia’s military industry.
