Three US service members were killed and at least 34 wounded in a drone attack on US troops in Jordan, Reuters reported.

At least 34 service members have been examined for possible traumatic brain injury, a US official told Reuters on condition of anonymity.

Two different official sources said some of the wounded US troops had been evacuated from the base for further treatment.

Two US officials said the drone struck near the barracks in the early morning hours, which could explain the high death toll.

The responsibility of this attack was assumed by the Kataib Hezbollah movement of Iraq, Sky News Arabia.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden announced the death of three American servicemen as a result of a drone attack on an American base in Jordan. However, he did not specify the number of injured.
